A previous review of the HTC Touch found it disappointing because of poor memory management and slow processor speed. Luckily, Sprint’s version of the Touch seems to solve these problems. It has a faster 400MHz processor, ample memory (128 MB RAM/256 MB flash ROM) and connects to Sprint’s fast data network. The increased speed and memory makes the Sprint Touch an ideal device to run resource-intensive programs. The HTC version has integrated Wi-Fi, which is sadly lacking in the Sprint Touch, but the high speed, integrated EVDO wireless network on board makes up for it nicely. The reviewer salutes Sprint for making all the improvements it did to the Touch. He goes on to saying that this device is a worthy contender to the iPhone.
