Sony Vaio VGX-TP25E Reviews

Summary of review published by PC Magazine — June, 2008

Sony’s VAIO VGX-TP25E is an expensive home theater PC. It is designed to enhance your existing home theater system. It is wireless, which doesn’t add to the clutter that comes with most home theater devices. Inside, The TP25E has a 2.1-GHz Core 2 Duo T8100 processor using Intel's new 45-nm Penryn core, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a Blu-ray reader, and a 256MB nVidia GeForce 8400M GT graphics card. It also includes a hidden card reader, wireless LAN, and a wireless keyboard with built-in touchpad. Though the reviewer thinks the unit can still improve on a couple of things, the TP25E is at present the leader in its category. It might be a little pricey than its competition, yet the reviewer recommends it because it successfully integrates the latest technology in a small package.
