Sony DVD Architect Studio 4.5c Reviews

Summary of review published by DV Magazine — January, 2008

Sony Creative Software's DVD Architect Studio is a testament to how far DVD authoring has come in the format’s 10 years of existence. It’s bundled with Vegas Movie Studio 8 Platinum Edition, but can also be purchased separately. In combination, these two are perfect for casual editors looking for low-cost solutions. In a head-to-head comparison, the reviewer found DVD Architect Studio to be better equipped than Apple's iDVD. If you want customized DVDs, Architect Studio can do it for you albeit in a limited capacity. It can’t create a DLT master used by most replication plants, but there are workarounds to this. For simple projects requiring DVD authoring, it’s probably the best out there right now.
Pros:
-Great features
-Seamless transition from editing to DVD authoring
-Nice template selection
Cons:
-Lack transitions
-Inability to create DLT masters
