Sony Cybershot DSC-T2 Reviews

Summary of review published by PC Magazine — March, 2008

Sony’s Cybershot line is known to have innovative designs and take great pictures with, but the price is steep. DSC-T2 is no exception. It comes in 4 colors, namely bright green, black, white, teal, and pink. This 8.1 megapixel camera has a price tag of $349.99. It features a touch screen navigational controls and impressive photo quality. The touch screen also serves as your viewfinder. It has ample brightness and the reviewer didn’t have any problem looking at it except when in direct sunlight. What sets this apart from other digital cameras is its 4GB internal storage. The T2 is compatible with Sony’s Memory Stick Duo or Pro Duo Cards but the camera will only save on external memories only when the internal memory is full. Though 4GB is sufficient enough for an average person. Another bad thing about the T2 is that you need a USB dongle to upload photos from the camera to your PC. After everything is said, the T2 takes crisp and detailed photos. Its touch screen is easy to navigate and it has a lot of good features such as Smile Shutter and face detection.
Pros:
-4GB internal memory
-Touch screen interface
-In-camera image editor
-High ISO settings
Cons:
-Can’t save on external card until internal memory is full
-Requires a proprietary dongle to connect to a PC
-High ISO tends to produce dark photos
