Cheap projectors usually have the stigma of being a flimsy device. While this may be the case for some, that doesn’t hold true with the Sanyo PDG-DSU20N. For less than $500, the PDG-DSU20N dishes out more than 2000 lumens. However, because it is a budget projector, you can’t expect much. In fact, the projector offers only the bare minimum: VGA, composite, S-Video and audio. Also, the reviewer stated that the resolution of the PDG-DSU20N, being SVGA only, might be on the low side for some presenters who are fond of high resolution graphics. When tested, the colors reproduced were so-so: not that good but not that bad either. The reviewer also noted that the PDG-DSU20N had some compatibility problems with a Dell Laptop giving off SVGA signals. If you are in a tight budget, a projector that gives off 2172 lumens and worth only $500 dollars is worth the second look. Just make sure you check out the compatibility.
