SanDisk Sansa Fuze is out to give the iPOD Nano a run for its money. With excellent sound quality, an FM radio, a microSD/microSDHC Card slot and a much cheaper price tag, the Fuze is a serious media player contender. The Fuze is available on different colors depending on the capacity of the unit which ranges from 2GB to the high-end 8GB. Though the formats compatible with the Fuze is limited, you can still load the usual MP3, WAV, and WMV files. The reviewer stated that playback was smooth, bass was vibrant and the highs were crisp even with the bundled earbuds. You also get an FM tuner with 40 presets available which is twice as many as the Sansa View. You can also view images on the 220 x 176-pixel resolution display, though high resolution images were jagged.
