Samsung P2 Reviews
Summary of review published by Laptop Magazine — February, 2008
The P2 is the latest portable media player made by Samsung. An all-black design, an intuitive touchscreen, a 3-inch widescreen display, robust sound and a host of Bluetooth capabilities makes it a strong contender to Apple’s iPod Touch. Taking the P2 for a test drive, the reviewer found the audio quality to be superb. Photos displayed were sharp and bright, though large sized images were slow to display. Getting the P2 connected via Bluetooth was a snap. The reviewer stated that no problems were encountered when it was paired with a set of wireless headphones. You can also pair the P2 with a Bluetooth-enabled phone which will allow you to make calls. During an incoming call, music is immediately paused and resumes automatically once you are done. The reviewer stated that what sets P2 from other portable players are the constant upgrades of Samsung through firmware updates. These firmware updates continuously adds new features to your P2, expanding its usefulness. If you are comfortable with just having 8GB of storage and no WiFi capability, the features of the P2 makes is worth the second look.
Pros:
-Great sounds
-Large screen
Cons:
-Slows down when opening large images

Samsung P2 has a beautiful 3-inch touch screen and an excellent interface for a MP3 player. It comes in three variants: black, dark red, and white. You can easily navigate P2 menus and rectify mistakes at once. There is a fully functional seven-band equalizer so that the listener can adjust it the way he likes it. Its Bluetooth capability is not fully activated yet but when it does, the player's will truly be a contender when it comes to flash MP3 players. On paper, P2 looks great but until all the features are fully functional, it is an incomplete device that’s rushed to be retailed for the holidays.
Pros:
-Slim, modern design
-High resolution, 3 inched screen
-Easy navigation
-Working EQ
-FM radio capability
Cons:
-Limited storage at 8GB
-Bluetooth not yet available
-FM recorder unavailable
-Limited file support
