Samsung Helio Mysto Reviews

Summary of review published by PC Magazine — May, 2008

The best feature of Helio’s Mysto is its slim profile, measuring only 4.1 by 1.9 by 0.5 inches, and weighing a mere 3.3 ounces. It has a bright 2.2-inch QVGA LCD screen that can display up to 26,000 colors. Sliding the handset will reveal the keypad for user input, and curiously, the keys vibrate when you press them. Like every Helio phone, the Mysto operates over the Sprint network. The reviewer likes the voice call quality but observes that his voice was muffled in the test voice messages. It can support fast 3G networks and the Mysto’s home page has links to popular web sites, but you can’t use it as a modem. This phone only has 106M of internal memory, but it does have a microSDHC card slot for expansion. The reviewer discovered that video playback can cause the phone to crash, whereas music playback is better. As for the camera, the reviewer didn’t like it as every photo he took came out blurry.
Pros:
-Attractive
-Good music player
-Keypad responds well
-Built-in GPS and EV-DO support
Cons:
-Forgettable camera
-Video playback causes the phone to hang
-Annoying end call button
