It can be said that the black Samsung Digimax i5 is a direct descendant of the black Nikon S3. Though these are different devices, they have nearly identical functions and features, down to the littlest details. In fact both have a sticker on the front proclaiming the major specs, among others. The reviewer also claims that the Samsung Digimax i5 was made to sincerely flatter the Nikon S3, through sheer imitation. The menu, though, is said to be a bit of a disappointment. It is unnecessarily scattered about, and the same is true for the controls. Features-wise, the Digimax i5 is also a bit lacking. On the plus side, up to ten seconds voice annotation can be attached to any picture, and i5 can likewise be used to record up to an hour’s worth of audio. The high resolution LCD is quite excellent. The 50MB of internal memory is generous - more than most manufacturers put inside cameras. It is sufficient enough that one can take quite a few pictures when the card goes full or is unavailable.
