Samsung BlackJack Reviews

Summary of review published by Pocket PC — April, 2007 (page 16)

A lot of consumers are attracted to the BlackJack because of its streamlined design and multimedia versatility. However, the reviewer found the BlackJack impractical for business purposes, since you’re unable to edit Microsoft Office documents. One of the strengths of the BlackJack is 3G data access, which means you can rapidly browse the internet and download email, music, video, and other data files. The built-in 1.3 megapixel camera also has the ability to record video. Although the unit has a short battery life for power users, Samsung has worked around this problem by offering an extra battery pack. There is also no readily available Wi-Fi access on this unit, but you can purchase a microSD Wi-Fi card separately. Although the design is pleasing to the eye, the keyboard layout feels a bit cramped. The reviewer also advises that users purchase a Kingston microSD card, because the SanDisk card is a bit too thick for the available slot.
Pros:
-Lucid display screen
-Streamlined design
-Bundled with an extra battery pack
-3G data support
Cons:
-Short battery life for those who use it extensively
-No built-in Wi-Fi capabilities
-Microsoft Office documents are read-only
