Research in Motion Blackberry 8820 AT&T Reviews

Summary of review published by Computing Unplugged — October, 2007

WiFi comes to the Blackberry

Blackberry users have been deprived of WiFi access but that is about to change. AT&T has introduced the first WiFi enabled Blackberry under the model name Blackberry 8820. Though not something to be overly excited about since WiFi connection has been enjoyed by Palm and Pocket PC devices for almost a decade, it still is something new for Blackberry users. Setting up the WiFi connection is easy as it basically walks you through the process. And just like ordinary WiFI devices, strength of the signal is dependent on the location of the hotspot you are using. The reviewer states that if you're already a Blackberry user and often in the position of being able to take advantage of a WiFi hotspot, then you may want to consider an upgrade to AT&T's Blackberry 8820.
