Resco Defender is a game where tactical maneuvers meet arcade simplicity. In essence, it is a strategy title stripped down to its basics. The Defender concentrates solely on defending your home base, against an unending multitude of your enemies. The core idea is to build defensive structures, as ever-increasing hoards of enemies assault your castle. Getting rid of your enemies earns you currency, which can be used to buy more powerful defenses. The game is almost pure arcade action and gets repetitive fairly quickly, but it’s fun while it lasts. Defender supports Pocket PC 2003 and newer touch screen devices. A demo is available, and the full version can be purchased for a reasonable fee.
