The concept of instant photography was first thought of and developed by Polaroid. In this age of digital cameras, they try to once again recreate the experience by making the pocketsize Polaroid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer. The PoGo is currently available in black with silver metal highlights. It weighs 8 ounces, including the rechargeable battery, and at 0.9- by 4.7- by 2.8-inches, it's small enough to fit in a pocket. The printer is built around ZINK technology and uses proprietary 2-by-3-inch paper with a peel off layer covering a sticky back. Setup is as simple as opening the paper tray cover, putting paper and printing away. A single charge can print up to 15 photos. The reviewer noted that it takes a minute to print a photo over the PictBridge connection and from 1 minute 35 seconds to 1:57 per photo for printing over the Bluetooth connection. Quality, however, is far from ideal, with light colors shifting to yellow, making photos look faded or worn out. Also, not all Bluetooth phones work with the printer, so you might want to check out their website and see if your model works with it. If the freedom to print pictures from your camera phone appeals to you, then the Polaroid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer might just be what you are looking for.
Pros:
-pocketsize
-easy to setup
-prints over PictBridge and Bluetooth connection
Cons:
-only 2-by-3 photos
-less than ideal color quality

Polaroid, maker of the instant-print camera, is bringing another innovation in the world of digital photography. The Polaroid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer is the first commercial product to feature Zink (short for Zero Ink) technology. It allows for no-ink printing using proprietary paper. The PoGo printer is just a bit thicker and longer than the average point-and-shoot camera which allows it to fit in pockets. The printer can take in 2 x 3-inch Zink paper and it can only hold 10 at a time. Performance-wise, the reviewer noted that the PoGo is quite slow. Sending an image took 2 minutes and printing it took an average of 43 seconds. Print quality isn’t hot either, with pictures looking blurry and taking on a blue-green tint. The PoGo is rated to print 15 pictures before running out of juice. It has a battery-life LED indicator to let you know if you still have enough power to print. While it may be innovative, the unimpressive speed and photo quality of the PoGo Instant Mobile Printer might not cut it for grown-ups. However, teens may find the ability to instantly print photos as pint-size stickers a blast.
Pros:
-Instantly prints pictures
-Compact
-No ink needed

Cons:
-Printing process slow
-Mediocre image quality
