Pinnacle Video Transfer Device Reviews

Summary of review published by VideoMaker — July, 2008

Pinnacle’s Video Transfer Device is such a simple machine that does exactly what it's supposed to do: transfer files from one device to another without using a computer. All you have to do is connect your VCR or camcorder into the Video Transfer Device, then plug in your iPod into the other end. Choose the video quality you want for the output, then press play on the camcorder and the REC button on the Video Transfer Device. The video is converted in real time and it will be placed in the video folder of your iPod. Input devices include gaming console, set-top box, camcorder, DVD player, DVR, and VCR. Apart from the iPod, the Video Transfer Device can also transfer files to other USB devices such as USB hard drives, a Sony PSP, and USB flash drives.
Pros:
-Simple to use
-Works well with iPod
-Can copy VCR tapes
Cons:
-No high definition output
-Timer is nonexistent
-Video can be lost with premature unplugging
