Panasonic BT-LH80W Reviews

Summary of review published by DV Magazine — October, 2007 (page 26)

Though a lot smaller, the LH80W almost has the same of the features of the LH2600W, with a few notable additions. There are two possible standard inputs, SDI and component, and a third, the viewfinder port, for select Panasonic cameras. Three buttons are user-programmable, providing easy access to several helpful functions. As with the LH2000W, it also has screen markers, but with a bigger center mark. Color temperature settings are similarly on par. A great thing about this unit is low power consumption, making it possible to squeeze 4-5 hours from a single charge. The images are great indoors but only within a 20 degree angle, but outdoors, the colors are washed out by the sun.
Pros:
-Nice colors and resolution
-Flexible user functions
-Multiple inputs
-Low power consumption
Cons:
-Built-in waveform lack delineated scale
-Same controls for backlight and contrast
