Microsoft Zune 80GB Reviews

Summary of review published by PC Magazine — January, 2008

The new Microsoft Zune is smaller, has a larger screen and bigger storage space. It also has wireless abilities that give it an edge over Apple's iPod classic. You can do wireless player-to-player file sharing and Wi-Fi syncing with your PC. Not only that, it also has a FM radio. It only comes in black but the rear panel can be customized with some cool artwork that is available for you for free. User interface is greatly improved from the previous Zune versions. One gripe the reviewer has with the Zune is that the screen might be bigger but the resolution stayed the same. All the extra features made Zune worthy of the Editor’s Choice Award.
Pros:
-Bigger screen
-Simple navigation
-Wireless syncing
-Wireless player to player file transfer
-Body can be customized
Cons:
-Low resolution
-Ear buds needs improvement
-Zune marketplace offers limited video selection
-Firmware update should be updated to have full wireless syncing
