Microsoft Windows Live Events Reviews

Summary of review published by PC Magazine — January, 2008

Window Live Events is an offshoot of Windows Live Spaces. This site lets party organizers customize their party's Web page with lots more goodies, such as photo slideshows, discussion boards, media players, and more. It’s required that you have a Windows Live ID to use this web site. The front page of Windows Live Events has only one button, create an event. After pushing the button, there are tons of possibilities available for you. There are many modules, themes and templates to choose from. Then there’s an advanced option where you can still customize your chosen template or theme to give it your own personal touch. This service is great if you and your friends already have other Windows Live services.
Pros:
-Easy to create pages with full customization controls
-Lots of templates and themes
-Integrates well with other Windows Live services
-Lots of photo album storage space
Cons:
-No recurring events feature nor polls and pot-luck features.
-No VIP area
-Requires Windows Live ID
