Microsoft Response Point Bundle is entirely developed in-house and uses its own Speech Server voice recognition engine. It requires Windows XP or Vista on the PC running the management console. Hardware setup goes smoothly. Just plug in each handset and the system will find them automatically. Software setup also goes without any hitches. The bundle comes with an installation CD that runs the configuration wizard. The author recommends the Response Point Bundle for small businesses that need a VoIP solution. Even without T1 or PRI support and other advanced administrative tools, Response Point is capable enough to serve the needs of its target market.
