Memeo LifeAgent Reviews

Summary of review published by Laptop Magazine — June, 2008

Mac OS X users need not be confined to Leopard’s Time Machine for back up purposes anymore. Memeo just released LifeAgent, a backup software that lets you store important files to a network folder, a removable drive, or as a partition on your hard drive. The setup wizard will get the software up and running in no time. The reviewer noted that it took only 45 minutes to back up an entire 30GB external hard drive. One advantage of the LifeAgent over the Time Machine is the instantaneous backing up of new documents and existing files. Another feature is the ability to back up files on multiple destinations simultaneously. Now there is no need to do it over and over again on different drives. For those looking for something fresh and new, the Memeo LifeAgent is a strong backup software option.
Pros:
-Quick backup times
-Work on a document while backing it up
-Multiple backup destinations

Cons:
-For Mac only
