Couch potatoes now have more reason to stay put thanks to Logitech’s diNovo Mini keyboard. The palm-sized controller is both a keyboard/mouse controller and a Media Center Remote. It measures 6.0 x 3.5 x 1.1 inches and weighs just around 6 ounces. It has a glossy black and silver finish and a black opaque lid. Open the lid and you’ll be greeted by the amber backlit, 64-key deck. The keyboard uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery that can last up to 30 days between charges. You can switch between PC mode and Sony PlayStation 3 mode using a slider in the battery compartment. The diNovo Mini communicates using Bluetooth signals. The reviewer noted that the signal was instantly recognized by the ThinkPad’s internal receiver. The keyboard buttons, which were designed for thumb-typing, were responsive. The touchpad mouse cursor worked well, though there were times when it would jump. During testing, the 33-feet rated range proved to be accurate - moving out of the 30-foot range made the keyboard less responsive. However, the Logitech diNovo Mini will cost you. But if you have the cash to burn, it is worth every single dime.
Pros:
-light weight
-easy to setup
-good range
Cons:
-touchpad jumps occasionally
-expensive
