Logitech Z Cinema Reviews

Summary of review published by PC Magazine — April, 2008

Logitech’s Z Cinema is a speaker system that comes with a feature-rich remote control â€" something serious media collectors will appreciate, but might intimidate those who just want simple 2.1 speakers. The remote is integrated with Windows Media Center, and with a simple click, you’ll be able to access your PC’s media contents. Though the operation is straightforward, the reviewer found out that navigating your media libraries through the remote is not that easy. With all its features, you can easily push the wrong button. It comes with intrusive software that pops up every time you make a change. The bundle comes with two speakers and a subwoofer. A headphone jack is located on top of the right speaker to give you private listening. In spite of the hitches, the author was still impressed with its sound quality and thinks that the price is fair enough for the Z Cinema.
Pros:
-Good sound quality
-Remote has lots of features
-Compatible with Windows Media Center
-Integrates iTunes and other media libraries
-Powerful subwoofer
Cons:
-Not so simple remote
-Intrusive software
-Controlling iTunes and Windows Media Center via remote can be complicated
-Large subwoofer
