Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless Headset Reviews

Summary of review published by Laptop Magazine — April, 2008

When it comes to comfort, it’s pretty hard to beat what the Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless Headset provides. The first wireless stereo VoIP headset from Logitech is padded from its headband all the way to the earpads which, according to the reviewer, makes it a pleasure to wear. Being a wireless stereo headset has its good points. First, there is no need for any setup whatsoever. Just connect the USB transceiver, turn the headset on and you’re good to go. Using the headset along with Skype produced excellent voice and call quality, albeit you have to adjust manually the speaker and mic settings. The reviewer stated that the audio most resembled traditional landline quality. However, the reviewer noted that even with the range rated at 33 feet, the ClearChat reached only 12 feet before losing connection. Also, because the ClearChat is not a Bluetooth headset, you cannot pair it with a cell phone. Nonetheless, its comfort and excellent quality, backed by a 2-year warranty, makes the Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless Headset an excellent choice.
Pros:
-Very comfortable
-Great voice quality
-No confusing setup

Cons:
-Very limited range
