LG enV2 Reviews

Summary of review published by Laptop Magazine — April, 2008

A follow-up to the highly successful LG enV, the enV2 is back with more enhancements and the same features that popularized its brother. The enV2 is made even sleeker and smaller while still maintaining large keys which messaging and typing remains easy for users. The decrease in size also meant that overall weight was reduced: from 4.6 to 4.2 ounces. One minor flaw of the enV2 is the really small 1.5-inch outer display. A lot of functions can be done with the outer display, though the size is really limiting. It still includes the same 2MP camera, right down to its 1600 x 1200 resolution. Images had good color reproduction, though the reviewer noted that it could have been crispier. The GPS service of the enV2, the VZ Navigator, was fast and accurate, needing only 20 seconds to lock-in the position of the user. Call quality was excellent, with speakerphone calls being exceptionally clear. The reviewer recommends you bring the charger with you on weekends as the battery life is somewhat average. With small tweaks at the right places, and by retaining the features that made the enV a winner, the enV2 is indeed a bargain for $129.
Pros:
-Large keypad and smaller design
-Keyboard comfortable to use
-Accurate and fast GPS
-Great call quality
Cons:
-Outer display too small
