Konica Minolta DiMage Z20 Reviews

Summary of review published by Handheld Computing — July, 2005 (page 64)

This fast, 5 MP digital camera is a good "trade-up" from standard cheap digital cameras, with it's lightning response and instant startup, along with 8x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom, giving the ability to zoom way in on nearly anything short of the space shuttle. DiMAGE is light on extraneous switches and gadgets, lacking even a motion stabilizer, but the ergonomic design allows for comfortable manual bracing. Viewing is done through either an electronic viewfinder through the lens or a 1.5" LCD. Movie mode is either a fast 30fps at 320 x 240 or an adequate 15fps at 640 x 480, but unfortunately, neither with sound capability. Storage is 14.5 MB internal with an open SD/MMC slot for additional memory. Powerful, ergonomic and surprisingly light, the DiMAGE is a solid performer.
Pros:
-Fast response
-Exceptional zoom
-Ergonomic, with buttons well-placed
Cons:
-No sound in movies
-Large form factor
