The Kodak ESP3 All-in-One Printer is perfect for anyone who needs to do a lot of photo printing while keeping the costs down. The ESP3 was kept small by removing the document feeder, giving it a 16.6 x 11.8 x 6.9-inch footprint. It works with PictBridge cameras and has plenty of memory card slots. However, the reviewer stated that due to the lack of an LCD, previewing photos must be done using a computer. The ESP3 printed black and white documents at a rate of 22 ppm. Colored printing was slightly slower at 20 ppm and caused the printer to be noisy. The reviewer stated that the documents printed weren’t very clear and some of the graphics came close to being unacceptable. Scanning and copying with the ESP3 was fast, producing 22 pages per minute. A colored 4 x 6 photo took 31 seconds to print. To save some cash, the ESP3 uses an intelligent paper sensor to adjust print settings. The ink costs cheaper than the competition as well. It comes bundled with Kodak’s Home Center software, an easy and intuitive software to use in photo editing. When planning to print heavily, the Kodak ESP3 All-in-One Printer will save you money while providing good quality prints at the same time.
Pros:
-great bundled software
-cheaper ink
-plenty of card slots
Cons:
-no LCD
-noisy
