iGuidance is among the least expensive GPS software out there. For its price, iGuidance is actually packed with features and has a clean user interface. What’s more, the DVD even contains versions of the software for UMPCs and laptop PCs, as well as Windows Mobile touch screen devices. The reviewer’s experience with iGuidance was generally positive, although he did find some weaknesses. For one, there was no user manual, although there was a Help file. Also, Geocaching entailed preliminary coordinate format conversion, and it took some time for the program to calculate the route. Finally, at least a 2GB storage card is needed to install the entire map, because there’s no option of installing just the parts of it that you need. Besides those, it’s a great program. The large buttons make it easy to navigate without taking your eyes off the road. Accuracy is high and the software is very stable. There are no lockups, and the Bluetooth connection is reliable. With a price tag so low, it’s quite a bargain.
