The days of maps written on paper is numbered. With GPS leading the way of electronic mapping, more and more software are joining the bandwagon. One of them is Google Maps Mobile. Having been ported to Windows Mobile, Palm OS, and Blackberry Enterprise Server, you can now take Google Maps with you on the road. With the use of a GPS device, you can search for an address, a specific business, or a type of business and get directions to them. You can even utilize your contacts and use it as your search parameters. Also, if available, it can show you the traffic condition leading to the place you searched. The reviewer stated that the biggest fault of the software is the need of a constantly open wireless Internet connection that could cost you. Overall, however, the Google Maps Mobile is a decent, fairly accurate GPS map application.
