Garmin Nuvi 350 Reviews

Summary of review published by Computing Unplugged — September, 2007

The GPS is slowly becoming a staple in everybody’s list of gadgets. Everyone seems to want one or need one. And in response, companies are jumping at the latest gadget craze. One such GPS device is the Garmin Nuvi 350. It is a pocket-sized device, measuring 3.8x2.9x.87-inches. It has a 3.5-inch diagonal, QVGA, 320x240 color touchscreen. Not only is the Nuvi 350 a simple GPS device, it actually features a range of travel and entertainment options. And to further aid your driving, it also offers an FM TMC traffic receiver. This feature can notify you of any untoward driving incident on your route, allowing you to adjust accordingly. The reviewer states that though the Garmin was great in telling you where you are, it was unable to tell you how to get to a certain place using a direct route. Also, the points of interest saved in the Garmin were less than accurate. With so many shortcomings and few positive points, the reviewer states that he cannot recommend the Nuvi 350.
