Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd Reviews
Summary of review published by PC Magazine — January, 2008
Fuji FinePix S8000fd is an affordable digital camera with SLR-like features. This camera is for photographers who want advanced features as well as manual controls. What’s nice about S8000fd is that it’s a simple one-lens-fits-all camera. It shoots 8 megapixel photographs with an 18x zoom lens. Novice photographers can simply point and shoot while experience photographers can use its wide range of useful features. There’s a natural light/flash mode option wherein the camera snaps two photos simultaneously, one without flash and one with, then present them side by side so that you can compare which is better. S8000fd doesn’t take top notched zoomed in photographs. It resembles a digital SLR camera but much more compact. S8000fd is a great deal that you should not miss.
Pros:
-Inexpensive
-Durable design
-Wonderful 18x zoom lens
-Working image stabilization control
-Can take videos
Cons:
-Image stabilization can sometimes create noise
-Shutter tends to lag
-Doesn’t support RAW file
