Summary of review published by PC Magazine — May, 2008

Epson’s Stylus Photo R1900 is the photo printer for amateur and professional photographers on a budget. It accepts both sheets and rolls, and can print on various paper types, or on CDs and DVDs. The printer uses pigment inks that give a wide range of color and are said to last up to 300 years. Users will love the R1900’s portability, as it’s much lighter and smaller than similar printers. What the author doesn’t like about the printer is its constant paper jam â€" the one thing that kept it from being Editor’s Choice. Aside from that, the recommends the R1900 for its ability to deliver high quality photos at lightning speed.
Pros:
-Realistic color quality
-Prints up to 13 by 44 inches
-Can print on CD and DVD
-Claims photos can reach up to 300 years
Cons:
-Paper jams can be frustrating
