Looking at the spec sheet of the new Disc Makers Forte might raise eyebrows. After all, a duplicator normally has two drives: a source drive and a duplicator. However, the Forte only has one - and it works. It has a feature called multiple master duplication. The reviewer stated that the feature works by putting as many blanks as needed, putting the master disc on top, then repeating for as many master discs as needed to be duplicated. You can also copy your sources to the Forte’s hard drive for quick access. It comes with an industrial-strength arm that goes up and down to pick and drop discs. The input and output bins can be stowed away inside the unit for shipping. The Forte ships with a Hitachi 160GB hard drive and a Pioneer DVD burner. It doesn’t attach to a computer and it doesn’t have a printer, making it even more simpler. If all you need is a no-fuss duplicator, the Disc Makers Forte will get the job done.
