With GPS fast becoming an alternative to the maps printed on paper, more and more entry level units are being created. For the new-to-GPS crowd, one such GPS device is the Delphi Nav200. The Delphi Nav200 measures 5.3x3.2x1-inches, weighs 6.7 ounces, and features a 3.5-inch diagonal, 320x240 color touchscreen. It is powered by a non-removable lithium-ion battery, or your vehicle's power adapter. The traffic service of the Nav200, the Real-Time Traffic Kit, is an additional purchase. The Nav200 provides a turn-by-turn navigation system to guide you to where you are going. When it comes to points of interest, the Nav200 was quite accurate up to businesses that opened for the past months. Unfortunately, as a GPS, that’s how far the good points go. The Nav200 doesn’t have the capability of compiling the most direct route. The reviewer states that you can expect the Nav200 to take you to your destination, but don’t expect it to be the best route. Also, with a battery life of just 2 hours, it’s virtually worthless in that capacity, thus, not recommended for purchase.
