Dell XPS One Reviews

Summary of review published by PC Magazine — January, 2008

Dell XPS One has a built in HDTV tuner, blu-ray drive, and 802.11n wireless capability. Priced at $2,400, it’s worth every cent, but it’s still much pricier than the competition. It’s an all-in-one entertainment system that looks good inside and out. Like the rest of the all-in-one systems, it doesn’t take much of your desk space. XPS One has a 20-inch LCD monitor with built in speakers. It has a built in webcam that has face recognition capability. A big plus is that XPS One comes with Adobe Elements Studio. Software that comes with the package includes Premiere Elements, Photoshop Elements, and Soundbooth CS3. These are great multimedia applications to start with. At this moment, the Dell XPS One is the all-in-one system to beat.
Pros:
-Versatile
-Comes with a HDTV tuner, Blu-ray drive, Bluetooth, wireless keyboard, and IR sensor.
-Excellent multimedia performance
-15 month anti-virus subscription
-Covered with a 2 year warranty
Cons:
-Has only one drive bay
-No back button on mouse
-Cables tend to be tangled
-Unimpressive HDTV resolution
-Expensive
