Street Atlas 2005 Handheld is a powerful and affordable GPS solution for serious GPS users. Not as user-friendly as other GPS programs and closer to professional-level than casual consumer, but packed with data and features. Interface takes getting used to, with utility as focus rather than large simple icons. Selecting and downloading maps is easy, with rectangle selection on PC, then export to Handheld. Bluetooth receiver has data logging capability for traditional waypoint-based routes. Bundle includes Street Atlas 2005 USA Handheld, Bluelogger GPS receiver, charging station, 12V car charger, belt carrying case and Manager software for setting up logging. Reviewer had some difficulty using in car, as satellite fix was patchy, although could be Handheld issue rather than DeLorme. If you are used to traditional GPS units or want a more capable unit at the cost of some user-friendliness, this is a great value.
