DXG 110 Reviews

Summary of review published by Laptop Magazine — March, 2008

The DXG-110 digital camera boasts a 10 megapixel count. That means our pictures will be great right? The reviewer doesn’t think so. Though it does offer 10 megapixels for a low price of only $169, there are trade-offs as well: no image stabilization and poor low-light performance. The reviewer noted that the user interface of the DXG-110 was quite confusing, and only by constantly referring to the manual helped them understand what some of the icons were. And because it lacks image stabilization, forget about taking pictures while moving. A simple shake of your hand and the image quality will suffer. Colors were dull and looked muted. Also, you need to have adequate lightening just to be able to produce decent shots. The reviewer stated that if you have $169 to spend on a digital camera, you’re better off looking for cameras with low megapixel count but with better image qualities than the DXG-110.
Pros:
-High megapixel count
-Budget priced
Cons:
-No image stabilization
-Poor performance in low light
-UI quite confusing
