Corel MediaOne Plus Reviews

Summary of review published by PC Magazine — January, 2008

Corel MediaOne Plus lets you make and share projects such as albums, calendars, scrapbooks, and slideshow with audio and video components in an instant. It includes a lifetime online image storage space to backup your photographs and projects through Sharpcast, or you can opt to burn the images into a CD or DVD. If you opt for the online option, your photos will be store in full resolution for a month. After that, it will be resized to 1,600 by 1,200 dpi. If you want to store in full resolution, you have to pay extra. You need not worry about had drive crashes any time soon. This is a simple application that produces simple results. MediaOne Plus doesn’t have tools to rectify exposure problems nor noise reduction. What’s nice about it is that you can easily create a slideshow with images and video. You can also sync the audio with the slideshow. This is a great software for beginners ad casual users.
Pros:
-Inexpensive
-Offers free, lifetime image bank
-Good scrapbook templates
-Easy DVD authoring options
-User-friendly
Cons:
-Limited editing options
