Despite the available customization, the reviewer felt that there were times when too little choice is available, such as what the firewall should block. For some strange reason, the antivirus protection is not activated by default, and turning it on requires a reboot. The parental controls it offers impressed the reviewer with the reports on what URLs are being accessed and the blockage of well-known and more obscure adult sites. Though it does offer a high level of customization, the functionality of the Internet Security Suite Plus 2008 is found to be wanting.
