Canon Powershot SD1000 Reviews

Summary of review published by Connected Photographer — May, 2007

Recently, cameras have been released in the market which boasts of better features and lower prices. A good example of this is the Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH. It packs a decent 7.4 mega pixels. This means you can print quality photographs with sizes of 8” x 10” and up - big enough to hang as posters in your room. The very generous resolution allows creativity to come forth. The LCD screen is bigger, giving the user a better preview of how the picture will come out. The new PowerShot SD1000 is also equipped with a better optical zoom that makes it ideal for nature photography. Now you can take pictures of wild birds, insects, and other sensitive subjects that are usually hard to get close to. One of the best things about the SD1000 is that it can be bought for under $250. That makes this superb camera even cheaper than the older SD40 model. It’s ultra-compact and very light, so it can easily fit in anyone’s pocket. If the intended user likes function over style, this might be the camera for him. It has more features, less money, but without the choice of fashionable colors.
