Chow down and limber up with CalorieKing

For most people, New Year's resolutions are meant to be forgotten. But if you’re serious enough to do yours and one of them involves losing weight, CalorieKing Nutrition and Exercise Manager may be able to help you make it happen. The software comes in both Windows and Palm versions. Create a profile consisting of your height, age, current weight, and activity level, and it will set a calorie level for you. Then, begin entering food and exercise habits. The screen automatically updates the remaining calorie budget, as well as carbohydrates, fat, protein, and fiber intake. The Windows software is better than the palm in showing detailed graphs and charts. The reviewer claims that she’s tried many other diet management programs, and Calorie King beats all of them in providing accurate information. This makes it a lot easier to trust the program. The main problem she’s had with the software was in synchronizing the Palm and Windows versions. If you add an entry in one version, it may show up on the other, but you cannot edit it. On their own, each version would rate a strong four out of five. As a package, however, the combined rating is a three.
