Callpod Dragon Reviews

Summary of review published by Laptop Magazine — February, 2008

Tired of having your calls breaking up when you move away from your phone? That’s one thing you don’t have to worry with the Callpod Dragon. Compared with most Bluetooth headsets, the Dragon allows you to move up to 40 feet from the paired phone before calls start crackling. On the other hand, the reviewer stated that calls sounded muddy, and that despite the dual-mic noise suppression, noises are still heard in the Dragon user’s background. Another nifty feature found in the Dragon is the Walkie-Talkie function. You can easily communicate directly with another Dragon user from as far as 250 feet, even with walls in between, just by pairing the two devices. And if ever you need to recharge the unit, the wide array of charging options comes with the Dragon, If you are looking for a headset that will not require you to be at arms length from your phone at all times, then the Callpod Dragon may just be the product for you.
Pros:
-Long range
-Wide array of charging options
-Walkie talkie function
Cons:
-Not so great design
-Noise suppression doesn’t work perfectly
