Apple iPod Touch 16GB Reviews

Summary of review published by Laptop Magazine — February, 2008

What do you get when you combine Apple's minimalist-chic aesthetic, an almost button less interface and great WiFi capability? The Apple iTouch. Considered by the reviewer as the best portable media player, it offers users a Maclike experience. Measuring 4.3 x 2.4 x 0.3 inches and weighing 4.2 ounces, it makes the most of its size with a 3.5 inch display. The reviewer stated that what puts the iTouch on the top is the 802.11b/g Wi-Fi radio. Surfing with the iTouch was a pleasure. What made things more interesting is the January Software Upgrade for the iTouch which made the deal even better. With the upgrade comes more OS-X like functionalities at your fingertips and access to more tools for your convenience. There may be downsides such as the lack of user-replaceable battery, a memory expansion port, and stereo Bluetooth. But overall, the reviewer finds the iPod touch truly the premier convergence device.
Pros:
-Aesthetically appealing
-Browsing via WiFi capable
-Large display
-More OS-X like functionalities
Cons:
-No user-replaceable battery
-No memory expansion port
-No stereo Bluetooth
