Apple Macbook Pro Reviews

Summary of review published by Laptop Magazine — March, 2008

One of the reviewer’s top 15.4-inch notebook is back with more tricks up its sleeve and more power to execute them all. The Apple MacBook Pro comes with the powerful Penryn processor and 4GB of RAM, delivering solid benchmark scores. The Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT processor that comes with the MacBook will be greatly appreciated by graphic artists. Benchmark score for the graphic power is about three times the average score for a mainstream system. When tested using graphic intensive games, the MacBook delivered FPS scores that shadow previous MacBooks. A new addition to the MacBook Pro is the Multi-Touch trackpad that allows you to operate the MacBook using finger gestures, just like in a MacBook Air. At 15 feet away, the MacBook’s 802.11a/b/g/n radio moved data at an excellent rate of 22.1 Mbps. As for the battery life, the reviewer stated that he MacBook Pro held its charge for 3 hours and 5 minutes during a DVD rundown test. Combining powerful graphics and processing power, coupled with very good endurance, the MacBook Air is truly an excellent all-around notebook.
Pros:
-Excellent performance
-Stylish
-Good battery endurance
-Multi-Touch Trackpad
Cons:
-No Mobile Broadband
