If leaving your home without your favorite radio stations doesn’t sound pleasing for you, check out the Aluratek USB Internet Radio Jukebox. The Jukebox tunes in to music and talk programming from more than 13,000 radio stations using any Web-connected PC. To set it up, just plug in the USB stick in an available port. The interface launches automatically and after selecting a language, the Jukebox will churn out music that had been filtered based on continent, country, or genre. Filtering is quite simple. A world map is displayed for the user to choose a continent, then a country, and finally, by genre. On the other hand, the reviewer noted that the sound quality on the Jukebox wasn’t quite as sharp as that on Pandora or Slacker, though the fault lies on the station and not the player. There are some faults in the player, such as drop-outs, no info about the artist and the song and banner ads at the bottom of the interface. If you are more into personalizing your own station, look away. Otherwise, for users who want to tune into music, news, and talk fast, the Aluratek USB Internet Radio Jukebox is worth a shot.
