Aliph New Jawbone Reviews

Summary of review published by Laptop Magazine — June, 2008

There are times when a normal Bluetooth headset just won’t cut it. That is why Aliph released the New Jawbone. A follow-up to its best-selling Bluetooth headset, the Jawbone “earwear” looks sleeker than the original. It comes in matte black, silver and rose gold. The package includes three silicon earbuds and four ear hoops " two of them made in leather. The reviewer noted that the earhook allowed for walking without fear of the headset dislodging itself. It comes equipped with NoiseAssassin, a noise-cancelling technology that is said to block ten times more noise than the competition. The reviewer stated that the Jawbone fared better in the noisiest environments, though they cannot say by how much. The headset has a rated range of 33 feet, though the reviewer stated that they can reach as far as 50 feet. One downside of the new Jawbone is the lack of multipoint technology. Battery life is good, with enough juice left after intermittent calls over two days. If background noise is your problem, then the Aliph Jawbone with the NoiseAssassin technology might just solve it for you " in style.
Pros:
-Elegant design
-Great noise-cancelling technology
-Long range
-Comfortable to wear
Cons:
-Doesn’t support multipoint
