This desktop replacement mobile weighs in at almost 13 pounds and sports a 3.8GHz Pentium 4, a 256 MB nVidia Quadro FX Go 1400 Graphics system capable of lightning-fast gaming. Upgradeable to 2 RAID 1/0 100 GB HDD's and a maximum of 2 GB of PC2-4200 SO-DIMM RAM, and it comes with all the necessary (4) USB 2.0, (2) Firewire ports, Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11g wireless. Video ports include the requisite S-Video, Video-in, as well as 5.1 Surround (SPDIF) jacks. Removable media includes dual optical drives, PCMCIA Type II and CF, SD, MMC, MS and MS Pro. Half-Life 2 ran like glass - smooth and slick, and easy to play on the full-size keyboard. A nice bonus is the ability to directly play CD/MP3 disks with the computer shut off, using the CD player controls on the front of the machine. Incredibly fast and capable machine and a top pick for the reviewer.
