Adobe Photoshop Elements Reviews

Summary of review published by Connected Photographer — April, 2007

Initially, Photoshop Elements seems like a stripped down version of the complete Photoshop application. It may not be a flexible program for graphic designers, but it does a great job for photography enthusiasts. In fact, it seems like the developers designed Photoshop Elements with photographers in mind. It may not have all of Photoshop’s features, but the missing features are the ones that photographers don’t really use anyway. Photoshop Elements is definitely much cheaper the Photoshop, but the reviewer recommends that users purchase the software bundle containing both Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements. Just like Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements is a version of Premiere that is geared towards camera hobbyists rather than professional video editors. Getting the bundle will provide you with a complete tool set for managing and editing both your photos and videos. Also, the combo can help you produce DVDs. One problem the reviewer had was that the programs also install some unnecessary background programs into your computer, but apart from that, the bundled collection is still impressive.
