Instead of presenting you with an empty work space with no idea how to start, Elements will instead present you a colorful welcome screen with four buttons that allow you to choose your next action. Adobe's layout is so clean and user-friendly, the reviewer states that he didn't have a problem understanding how to accomplish this task using it. Though these features are available in free software, what sets Elements aside is a feature called ‘photomerge.’ You can easily blend two photos of the same pose together to create the perfect picture. Also, a ‘guided edit’ tutorial is available, walking you through the basics of photo editing. The reviewer, however, said that the guided edit is a bit lacking, since not all features are available in the guided edit. Overall, the reviewer recommends it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced program to create, edit and easily share photography.
