What the Addlogix InternetVue 2020 tried to do was revolutionary. Able to sidestep DRM issues concerning use of media files, you can now watch iTunes, CinemaNow.com or Movielink.com movies on your TV without stepping on laws. The InternetVue 2020 has the PC2TV technology from Quartics which allows you to transmit your desktop wirelessly over 802.11b/g to your television. Though the new technology sounds great, the results were disappointing. Because the TV just mirrors your desktop, once you are watching a movie, the quality suffers. The reviewer noted that the video looks grainy and dull, lacking the vibrant, clear, and rich colors of the latest DVD releases. Also, the remote controlled shipped with the InternetVue 2020 is almost useless and the reviewer stated that it would be easier to just stand up and go to your laptop. Though it may have a TV service called BlinkTV, the reviewer found it quite lame. All in all, the InternetVue 2020 is a major letdown. Only with a faster 802.11n technology for smoother video streaming and HDMI support will it then be worth a second look.
