The 10-inch N10Jc can easily be mistaken for a new Eee brand, but it is actually the company’s first corporate netbook. It has a glossy taupe lid branded with the ASUS logo and the silver hinge emanates professionalism. It is currently the largest 10-inch netbook in the market, measuring 10.8 x 7.6 x 1.4 inches and weighing 3.4 pounds with the six-cell battery. The reviewer noted that the N10Jc has the best keyboard seen on any ASUS netbook. However, the awkward placement of the right Shift key can still pose problems for touch typists. The touchpad is spacious and offered a textured feel. A bevy of ports is available, including an 8-in-1 card reader, an ExpressCard/34 slot and an HDMI port. The 10.2-inch, 1024 x 600-pixel resolution glossy screen on the N10Jc is attractive and provides good horizontal viewing angles. It includes Express Gate that allows you to do the basics, such as chat and surf the Web without having to boot into Windows. What separates it from the typical netbook is the switchable graphics. Users can switch between Intel’s integrated graphics card and Nvidia’s discrete GeForce 9300M GS. Battery life is good, managing to squeeze 4 hours and 35 minutes on a charge. Bringing together solid performance and good endurance in a stylish package, the ASUS N10Jc is a compelling choice for a corporate netbook.
Pros:
-excellent graphics performance
-sharp display
-has Express Gate
-good endurance
Cons:
-quite heavy
-no integrated mobile broadband option
